We're constantly bombarded with the idea that conservative and libertarian ideals represent an effort to re-enslave blacks, women, and many others.

Runaway Slave, Directed by Pritchett Cotten, tells the story of how Pastor C.L. Bryant was fired by his church and stripped of his position as NAACP Chapter President.

Did he steal funds? Engage in immoral behavior? Run naked down Main Street?

Worse!

Bryant explains: "I was once a black radical. I was sold out to the cause. But…my eyes opened to the oppression of our government on the black community."

Sharing his personal experience and interviewing a number of highly respected leaders in the black community, Bryant cuts through the rhetoric and hype of identity politics to provide an informed perspective on what actually enslaves people. The film points to a definitive course of action not just for minorities but for any citizen who wants to be truly free.
